Extraction and removal of Azo dyes from industrial wastewater by Polyurethane Foams and Membranes

Abstract

Various industrial sectors such as the textile, paper, rubber, leather, cosmetics, food and drug industries utilize dyes in the making of their products. Due to the environmental impact of these components, dye removal is a Controversial topic all around the world, thus many efforts have been done to reduce organic and inorganic material in the industrial wastewater. This paper has reviewed some of these attempts and represented their results as a review paper
